I’m Gertjan, an automation-focused IT expert specialized in Booqable workflow automation.

My expertise comes from real operational experience: I built and scaled my own rental company, Rent Your Adventure, where I automated everything inside and around Booqable, because manual admin quickly becomes a bottleneck.

Over time, I developed custom automation systems for:

  • Payment reminder flows and overdue escalation
  • Automatic follow-up of unconfirmed or incomplete bookings
  • Dynamic shipping cost calculation based on required transport crates
  • Auto-adding linked products and accessories to orders (very helpful for new colleagues)

  • Custom reporting of financials and goals

I started UKIYO because I felt Booqable’s default automation options were too limited for serious rental operations and I saw how much time businesses could save with smarter workflows.
